If you would permit me, please let me talk a little of what I've learned about the Architects. I know a lot of you haven't met them or any of there race, so I figured this would be a fairly descent place to inform. This is all from memory so if any of my information is wrong, please let me know, or anybody has anything to add, please do so.
Those people, for lack of a better word, are extra planer beings who both monitor and ensure the planes stability and function. They vary in responsibility and power scale. The high one gets in power, the more focused one gets on their specific task.
The lowest of these rankings, with the least power and the most free will....is us. Humans, lycanthropes, azoics, etc etc. We have the potential to do many great things, but without years, and I mean years beyond our average life span, we can never amount to certain power.
The middle rankings, and I do mean middle as a generic term, are something of a middle management. The have a variety of jobs, and really concern themselves with nothing else. Here's a couple I have met and/or heard of:
Record Keepers - They do what you would think they do, they keep a record of history. When the lot of us were hurled back in time, yes, i'm not sure I'm supposed to talk about it, but I'm sure you've all heard about it by now, we were approached a group of these beings. They had noticed a distinct change in the lines of history and came to speak to us to record the new happenings.
Arbiters - these were the beings who took many of us aside and were interviewed. I don't know much about them, but they seem to have keeping the balance of the planes on their mind. They allowed us humans to unlock our full potential and become paragons. Which also reminds me, if anybody sees any of these, or comes across any being claiming to be a paragon, please let me know. I would like to speak to them about having the more recent members of town undergo the trials so they too may become paragons if they wish.
Architects - I'm not sure I've met any of these, but from what I've heard of them, they are in charge of seeing that the planes are physically kept safe and intact. They wish to ensure that no irreversible damage is done to them. Any more information would be great.
And the highest level of being that we've run across, the most powerful, would be our beloved Ymira and our dreaded enemy, Usayer. These beings are called Planeswalkers and can travel freely between different dimensions and planes. A lot of us have been speculating about the freewill that these individuals may or may not have, but what we do know is that they are both damned powerful, with forces to be respected and feared. We know that Ymira is here to aid and heal, as any member of the devoted or any person who has met her will tell you. So I'm glad to have her on our side. Usayer, however. I am uncertain of his ultimate goal. Does he want to enslave us all? Does he wish to destroy our plane? I'm not sure anybody really knows. Presently though, he does seem content with just toying with us. So while he toys with us, we'll be to the side, working to dethrone him.
I must stress, repeatedly, that all of this information is going from what I pulled from my head. I could be wrong about a lot of these things, or all of them, but I'm fairly sure what I've written is accurate, or I wouldn't have written it. However, if it is incorrect, please correct me. If you have anything to add or opinions to state, please do so.
